Active Participation vs. Directed Observation in Collaborative 3D Virtual Museums

Bio:

Joaquín Uribe, graduated as a Civil Engineer in Computer Science from the University of Chile. He currently works as a software developer at a fintech company, but  also spends some free time working on the virtual Kachkar Museum.

 

Description of the Talk:

In this talk, Joaquín will introduce a virtual museum where you can interact with Armenian Kachkars. This museum features a multiplayer mode, which was used in an experiment aimed at exploring the differences in learning capacity between groups with a leader (Directed Observation) and groups where everyone is free to participate (Active Participation).
